The Tea Nazi at Red Butte Gardens

Yesterday we went to the Red Butte Gardens on the U of U campus. We had never been there before and the gardens were amazing. We were particularly impressed with the children's garden. While in the children's garden we encountered the tea nazi! There was a little table set up with a pretend tea party and whenever James would go near the table or ask for tea she would say, "No tea for you!" (I hope all you Seinfield fans can appreciate the great humor we found in this little situation.) I even tried to video tape the encounter, but my batteries died...those darn electronic devices we love so much! We also rode TRAX downtown yesterday morning and braved the crowds to see the Days of 47 Parade. It was fun and we had a great time! Poor Jake had to work, but my parents accompanied the children and I. James' first comment to Jake when he got home from work was, "Dad I rode the train 5 TIMES today!" Rachael had fun on the train too. She would swing from the bars that are on the top of the seats...we are raising a little monkey!

I can't get over how grown up Rachael looks. It's crazy. We miss James and his adorable personality. How fun!

It was fun to see you on my blog!! I need to learn how you got yours to fill the whole page--your blog is very well done. It's such a fun way to get to know everyone a little better! (I use Wendy's as a "portal", too!)
