Well it has been an exciting week! Not really, but we did make a few new discoveries. We discovered that taking a walk along Cottonwood Creek right now entails going through lots and lots of caterpillars getting ready to make cacoons. I was actually pretty grossed out because a lot of them were hanging from the trees right at face level. We did a thourough caterpillar check before getting into the car. Another discovery I made this week was in the realm of digital scrapbooking. I have wanted to get started doing digital pages but I have been working on familiarizing myself with the software. Well, today I made my first successful scrapbook page and I think I am really going to like this digital stuff. The best part about it is that there is not a huge mess to clean up! I still enjoy making cards and other paper crafts, but as far as scrapbooking goes....I am going digital! One of my friends does an online store and they have some very cute and affordable things. A few other discoveries made this week:
Rachael- She can now very easily climb on top of the table and tries to do it often...ohh we got a climber!
James - Is doing great in our home preschool and started reading a few words this week. He is very proud of his accomplishment...as are we.
Jake - Found out that he needs some new shoes....having a crack in your soul makes for very wet feet when it rains.

So cute love the page! I have downloaded from them before but my computer will not allow me to download them anymore. Oh well. Thanks for the cards that you sent. Can we take a break for the summer? Things are just going to be busy, busy here. I hope that all is going well!
Job well done on the scrapbooking... We had some close encounters with the caterpillars this weekend on our camping trip too. I am not a huge fan, but it is cool nonetheless.
Cute page Stef! I've also entered the world of digital scrapbooking this week and will be trying to return all my scrapbooking stuff because I can never find the time! However the kids leave me alone more when I'm on the computer (although Braeden is sitting on my lap as I'm typing this yanking on my hair). Great job with James reading! I've been such a slacker mom. Oh well. :)
Okay, another comment. Braeden was asking about "chachel" and James still since you were over this week so I was showing him your pictures again. He was laughing at the one of food all over her and gets excited about James' Lightning McQueen shirt repeatedly saying, "I have that one-Ren" (Ren is Mcqueen) So one again, cute pictures!
