James said he didn't like them poking him and waking him up all the time, but he loved having a TV in his room and a menu to order food from whenever he wanted. He had the whole world by two buttons (they controlled the TV and the nurse).
It was a strange and frightening experience to have one of my children in the hospital. It took the whole family about a week to recover from the stresses, but we are all doing fine now and James has almost fully recovered.
When he was discharged they rolled him out in style with ice cream in hand!

Oh sad! It looks like he made the most of his stay though. I hate seeing/having kids in hospitals. They should be outside running around. I'm glad it wasn't more serious.
I'm sure it was more traumatic for you guys than James apparently. Those pictures are so cute!!!! And obviously James took full advantage of the food with all the stuff he chose. So funny.
Oh Wow! I'm so glad he is doing better!
