I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know how blessed and thankful I am for such a wonderful husband. Jake is an amazing person in so many ways. He treats me like a queen even when I don't deserve it. He constantly amazes me in the ways he interacts with our children and does so in a way that I never could. He is so thoughtful and always tells me how much he loves and appreciates me. It is so amazing to me how perfect Jake is for me. He is always supporting me in my crazy endeavors and encouraging me in my role as a mother. In the evenings he is always there to help with the children, give them baths, read books, and whatever else they may need. I really don't know what I would do without him!
His first priority is the welfare of his family and we often have talks about how we can improve our interactions with our children. We both feel it is important to give them one on one time and Jake has started taking the children out on individual dates. He took James to breakfast, the zoo, and then to his work with him a few weeks ago. James thought it was the coolest thing ever and I think those little experiences they share really strengthen their relationship. Then this week he took Rachael to breakfast. What an amazing father! I am so lucky to have a husband that motivates me to be a better person and is so completely handsome to boot! Thank you Jake! I love you so much! You are AMAZING!

Yeah, I agree you have an awesome husband. The more I get to know him the more I see that. He's so great with you and you're both so funny to watch together. I do think you guys compliment each other so well in your similarities AND differences. And he and Christian are so much alike and have fun together. We had SO MUCH FUN going out with you guys on Saturday. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard and it's fun having a date we don't revert back to talking about the kids or household responsibilities. We'll have to do it more often!!
Stef, that's so sweet! You guys definitely seem to have it figured out. And from what I know about you, I think you probably do deserve to be treated like a queen.
p.s. I am loving Rachel's piggies! So cute.
I agree with Jess...and the more I know your sweet hubbie, the cooler he is. I'm sad that you guys aren't in the Gospel essentials class anymore...you've truly left a void in there! I guess Clay and Jake were talking at Dave's Halloween party the other night and Clay was very impressed Jake and what he had to say about the various "stuff" they were chatting about! You both ROCK!
